“An Apron is Just a Cape on Backwards!”

This quote is my absolute favourite! It’s so true, after a good bake you feel like a superhero…let’s not talk about the cleaning up after or even worse…the bakes that are disastrous!

Here are some things I have learnt along the way and some useful tips.
I’ll keep adding!! There is no order to this list…

1. Sprinkle flour onto the cake as soon as it comes out of the oven to make the icing stick better

2. ALWAYS beat the eggs slightly before adding to the mixture

3. If it “wiggles” after the timer has gone it needs 5more minutes. If it comes out and it’s not wiggling BUT the skewer isn’t clean it needs 1 more minute

4. Hull strawberries with a straw
